June 11, 2007 -- As of this morning, upwards of 3000 letters have been mailed to the soldiers of CFB Valcartier, near Quebec City. More than 2000 soldiers from the base will deploy to Afghanistan later this summer.

The Valcartier 2007 letter campaign is the initiative of Block the Empire-Montreal and the Guerre à la Guerre Coalition in Quebec City, supported by the Coalition Québec pour la paix and the Rassemblement Outaouais contre la guerre.
